Yaşam Şaşmazer is on the selection committee for BASE 2024 (02/05/2024)
Applications to BASE 2024, Turkey's new graduate artist platform, are now open. This year, BASE is accepting applications from undergraduate and graduate students graduating from Turkish universities' departments of painting, sculpture, photography, video, printmaking, traditional Turkish arts, graphic design, visual communication design, animation, glass and ceramics, textiles, and architecture between January 1 and December 31, 2024. The application deadline is June 15, 2024.
This year's BASE jury includes Ari Meşulam, Bahar Kizgut, Coşar Kulaksız, Daryo Beskinazi, Derya Yücel, Ergin Çavuşoğlu, Esra Aliçavuşoğlu, Gülay Semercioğlu, Nermin Er, Oya Delahaye, Serkan Özkaya, Sinan Demirtaş, Yaşam Şaşmazer, and Yekhan Pınarlıgil.
