Cengiz Tekin at the group exhibition Yeryüzü Halleri at Yapı Kredi Gallery (06/09/2024)

The exhibition Yeryüzü Halleri will feature works by eleven contemporary artists who focus on ecology and the importance of living on earth with care, caution, and kindness. Curated by Burcu Çimen and Didem Yazıcı, the exhibition will be held at the Yapı Kredi Gallery from September 6 to March 30, 2025, as part of Yapı Kredi's 80th Anniversary events. The exhibition will be accompanied by a panel discussion on Saturday, September 7, from 2 to 6 p.m.

The title of the exhibition is inspired by Birkan Keskin's poetry book of the same name, which emphasizes the experiences of non-human creatures. The exhibition aims to explore human relationships with nature, shedding light on sociopolitical dynamics and everyday structures. It also encourages reflection on the impact of sustainability on social justice and rights-based approach.
