Heba Y. Amin at Foundation Thalie with her lecture performance ‘The General’s Stork’, Ixelles (19/04/2019)
On 16 February 2019, Heba Y. Amin participated in the Perruche program at the Foundation Thalie in Belgium in collaboration with Goethe Institute with her lecture performance titled ‘The General's Stork'. ‘The General’s Stork’ brings together historical accounts, Bible prophecies, colonial narratives and surveillance reports to investigate the contemporary conditions of a state paranoia that transformed a migratory bird into an international spy.
